he Bunnell Family Cellar specializes in small handmade lots of wine from Rhône Valley grape varieties including Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault and Viognier. Our “vins de l’endroit” (wines of a place) showcase exceptional vineyards in the Columbia Valley. “Vins de l’esprit” (wines of the creative spirit) are unique examples of the art of blending. Please visit our Wines page to peruse our selection of vineyard designated Syrahs, Mourvedre, and Viognier, as well as our Rhône style blends and recently released Grenache. There you will find descriptions, tasting notes, and other information about our wines.

Our wines have been celebrated in a number of esteemed publications, including Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Press Northwest, and Northwest Palate. We welcome you to browse our Acclaim section, read these outstanding reviews, and learn more about our achievements in winemaking.

Grower Profiles

We have developed personal relationships with premier growers, like Dick Boushey, Butch and Jerry Milbrandt, Rob Andrews, John Doebler, Tedd Wildman, and Paul Champoux.  Visit our Winery page to learn more about the vineyards that supply the Bunnell Family Cellar.

Tastings By Appointment

The Bunnell Family Cellar is nestled in a hillside on the Bunnell family farm, also known as RiverAerie. In a cozy area adjacent to our barrel room, we host small private tastings, including barrel tastings, for groups from one to twelve. We are proud of the wines we create, and love the opportunity to share them with wine enthusiasts and collectors from around the world.

Many of our guests enjoy touring RiverAerie. Resting on seven acres along the Yakima River, the farm offers breathtaking views of the Horse Heaven Hills, and a chance to stroll among our fragrant lavender and herb beds.

If you would like to schedule a tasting and a chance to interact with the winemaker, or if you're interested in touring the Bunnell Family Cellar and farm, please call (509) 973-4187 or email us. We also participate in many Seattle area wine tasting events.
