Sangiovese, 2007 - SOLD OUT

This RiverAerie Sangiovese comes from three vineyards which we consider to be the best Sangiovese vineyards we have encountered in Washington. The Doebler Vineyard, a warm west facing rock pile overlooking the Columbia River at Sentinel Gap in the Wahluke Slope Appellation, produces a very aromatic wine of lighter to medium body. Jones Vineyard Sangiovese, also from Wahluke Slope, is a sturdier, more dense wine and complements the Doebler. The third site, in Yakima Valley, is Dick Boushey’s, which is perhaps the most balanced Sangiovese we have ever worked with. It brings rich mouthfeel and bright acid to the blend.
