This RiverAerie Syrah is a blend from several outstanding vineyards in the Wahluke Slope and Yakima Valley. Our goal is to produce a balanced wine which exhibits the power of the variety but also the intense black fruit flavors which make Columbia Valley Syrah so distinctive. We prefer to minimize the impact of the winemaker and oak barrels, opting instead for the natural fruit of Syrah.

Winemaker’s Notes:  

Deep purple color; boysenberry and plum aromas; rich entry on the palate, with rich berry flavors and hints of mocha and cinnamon; a full, rich mid-palate, and lingering finish.
