Spring Creek Redd, 2006 - SOLD OUT
$14.00 (library)
2006 Spring Creek Redd is a blend of 69.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15.4% Syrah, 7.7% Petite Sirah and 7.7% Mourvedre. It is named after one of the creeks that form the boundary of our property, RiverAerie. Spring Creek is a spawning ground for King Salmon and a “redd” is a nest of salmon and other fishes. Hence the play on words with the name of this wine (no, it’s not misspelled)
Winemaker’s Notes:
Raspberry and blueberry aromas, with slight hint of sage in back; fresh fruit on the palate, elegant and restrained body; a refreshing, fun wine, not to be taken too seriously, the perfect pizza wine.
