This RiverAerie Merlot comes from the Spofford Station Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. This vineyard produces wines of great depth and focus. We have aged this Merlot for 16 months in two- and three-year-old French oak. The rich fruit character of the wine is enhanced by a background of mocha and carob.

Winemaker’s Notes:  

Deep ruby and garnet color; aromas of carob, rose pedal and forest floor; soft entry with flavors of cola, carob, mocha and a hint of pomegranate; Elegant tannins lift the fruit, making this a great food wine.
