Rhone Blend, "vif", 2006 - SOLD OUT

Vivid, lively, bright... the French term “vif" is perfect for this proprietary blend of Rhône  varieties.  This unique wine is reminiscent of the fresh country wines traditionally produced in the Rhône Valley of France. After 18 months of aging in American and Hungarian barrels, Syrah  from the Horse Heaven Hills and the Wahuke Slope was blended with Mourvedre, Petite Sirah (Durif), Grenache and Cinsualt from the Wahluke Slope.

Winemaker’s Notes:

Warm impression on entry; cinnamon and cloves in the aroma; toasty cassis and other bright red fruit flavors, good acidity with a long raspberry finish.
