Rhone Blend, "Lia", 2007
$36.00 (library)
Lia is our daughter’s nickname, short for Amelia. Lia, the wine, is inspired by Amelia and by the noble Grenache based wines of the southern Rhône Valley. Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvedre contribute to the complex aromatics while Syrah and Petite Sirah provide the body and structure of the wine.

Winemakers' Notes:
Aroma of spices and violets; soft impression from moderate tannins; fleshy through the mid-palate and lingering berry and spice characters on the back palate; enough finesse to allow aromatics to play a significant role but with plenty of structure to carry the wine.
